in action in regards of people that have to be baker acted in references of mental stability. I know that here in Florida a person can not be baker acted unless they are a harm towards themselves or others although, for instance I am aware of certain individuals that are mentally unstable to the point that they have almost caused others to run over them several of times not to mention them not even knowing where they are at.This is not to mention numerous times they have been picked up and sent to rehab centers then only to be let out again, after 72 hours to be let back on the streets again?????

By "baker acted", I'm assuming you are referring to something called the Baker Act, which exists in Florida.

And if so, you don't need a new law, just an amendment of the existing law if you don't like how it operates.
