No there taking the actual events that take place in the streets and making it public. They are rapping about what they know. It is really about struggle and survival.

I guess it's because rappers have to maintain a certain image. There are some good rap love songs such as

Ja Rule ft. Lil Mo' - I cry
Ja Rule ft. Lil Mo' & Vita - Put it on me
LL Cool J - Hey lover
LL Cool J - Love you better

If rappers rap about love, other people might think they're soft because they're talking about love. There hasn't recently been a love rap song that's because today's rap is about bling bling, cars, guns, dances and females. Maybe in acouple of years there will be more love rap songs.

Yeah there's such a thing as a rap love song. And frankly, all types of music contains hateful words and violence. You simply have a stereotype of rap music from listening to a couple of songs around town, which is understandable, but please further your knowledge on the subject before making assumptions.

because rap is a epresentation of pure misery and lies. a bunch of people who have little self esteem. some could say the same for metal artist but i think that performing metal exerts more energy leiving one with the possitive exit and not enough energy to shoot up other musicians where as rap exerts and releises nothing other than magnifying the anger and hatred. can any one say tupac and biggy?
