A zebra and a cow wouldn't mate, and even if
artificial insemination were used there would be
no offspring. Zebras and cows are not just
different species, they are in different orders of
mammals. They are genetically too different to
be capable of producing young with each other.

The pattern would more or less remain the same. As a cow is mostly black or white. You'd find checks at some places if the cow has patches of the contrasting color.

Mendel proved there was to types of dominates in genes when they are crossed.
Codominance- where red and white roses became pink
Incomplete dominance-where red and white roses where splotched with red and white.
And no one has any idea which outcome would happen unless the cross of the genes had been done before, which I pretty sure that hasn't been done.

I don't think that they would even mate since they are both different species. But if you want to know so bad keep them isolated in a room together and they will eventually mate. hahahahah.
