maybe one didn't like his last name so he chancged it.

I don't know if they ever really said, or if I just can't remember right now, but I think that maybe they have different mothers and one (or both) took the name of their mother not their father? Or maybe Michael took his last name from a step-father? All I do know is that they are DEFINATELY brothers and that they share a father but I think they have different mothers.

From what I understand, Michael assumed his mother's maiden name after their father walked out on them. Not sure why Lincoln kept his dad's name.

one could've changed his last name or they had different dads or moms
