I have cute and hot categories. I use hot for people that i have no interest in, but I still think are attractive. I use the word cute when referring to someone that I may like or have romantic interest in, because I feel that it is a nicer and more proper word to use.

A girl or guy could be either cute or hot, but please don't call an infant or child hot.

They are different, all though it varies depending on who you ask. In general, hot is more sexual than cute, which is sort of innocent.

Hot is a term for someone considered f--kable ,
Someone to hook up with for a booty call (sex).
Cute is not sexual , just attractive , could be an adult, a child , a puppy , a teddy bear . . .

no. not really. most girls like to be told they're hot over being told that they're cute (by the way) because hot means you have a great body, cute just means they like your face but its kinda like making them seem like you're talking down to them.hot means like oh you're fine i like you because you have a great body and a great face and stuff like that

Hot = Sexy looking, great body, Nice ***, just FINE written all over her, Jessica Simpson
Cute = Very attractive face, average body, someone you would want to have relationship with, Jessica Alba
