Right on the Iraq war, right on trade, right on health care, right on civil rights. He is the only candidate with a consistent message that all Democrats can get behind.

Maria, I don't think the average Democrat has much faith that any of the four you mentioned will champion policies that will fix our nation's problems. Therefore there is no good reason to vote for them.

U2? Is there a time for new names hard to pronouce?
I thought Reagan would do for the USA National Budget and Debt what he did for the state of California's. That's what he said he would do. Boy, look what happened there. OUCH!
Giving great interviews, using the right buzz words ... now I look at all the issues and not just the 'hot spots'. What about his record of service in politics? What did he do at the local level?
He'll have to show me more than what he has to get any consideration from me ... much less a vote. He hasn't shown enough to even be a front runner. The poles give him barely a blip. He's a 'Johnny-Come-Lately' in the game so far. He'll have to play catch-up and his competition is way ahead.
What kind of strategy is that?

In the cutthroat arena of presidential politics, Kucinich is not electable. A lot of political pundits consider his candidacy a joke in 2004 and 2008. Mike Gravel is in the same boat as well. Clinton, Obama, Edwards, and Richardson seems like the only four with a clear shot to get the Democratic nomination.

Oh boy...this could be a tricky one...i'm truly with Dennis on each little thing, i will even forget that he was once anti-abortion...yet I ve given money to John Edwards...i'm not sure, i think of i'm merely going to stare at my absentee polluntil the spirit strikes me. i think fortunate that I also have a determination to make, often i will merely vote down-pollor... i'm attempting to keep in mind who I voted for in 2004 interior the standard, I in all risk held my nostril and voted for Kerry. So i'm chuffed that I even have 2 applicants that actual excite me...i'm leaning in direction of Kucinich. He makes me proud...yet then, Elizabeth Edwards does too...I want SHE replaced into working...

Dennis Kucinich would be an excellent candidate for the Democrats. Good luck with that.
I would enjoy the results of his health care and trade policies, as stated.
Of course, I should ad that I won't be voting for ANY Democrat. But if we had to have one, DK's not bad.
Still want Lieberman, myself.

I'll go with what on this one. Kucinich is the most out of touch candidate I've seen in a long time. Appeals mostly to the far left fringe.

Forgive me for answering in the form of a question, but if he's right and oh so great, then why is he in single-digits ?
That would indicate to me that he's not on target with the Democratic voters and wrong on many issues .. . . . .at least in the minds of the very people he seeks to woo .

You know, If Gore stays out I think you might just see this happen. Can you imagine the contrast with the present incumbent.
Obama and Hillary are both finished before it all started.

Yeah, he's right funny too.
Maybe he says alot of "right" things about different issues, but can the things he's proposing be feasibly IMPLEMENTED? Without wrecking America and the free market system, (or what's left of it).

Ah, yes, Denny's the quintessential Democrat - right on EVERYTHING! Too bad it's irrelevant in the real world.
I mean, really - would you rather be right or would you rather be effective?
