Many people still answer to this question according to their consciousness. Yes, there are so many things are more important than money. And I am particularly agree with them. Money doesn't play a single role in our happiness, but without it life becomes tougher that our happiness starts to turn into nightmare.
Of course, I can write about this topic neverendlessly. But I would be happy to know your opinion?

OF COURSE MONEY WONT BUY HAPPINESS BUT IT WONT MAKE YOU AN UNHAPPY PERSON IF YOU WERE TRULY HAPPY BEFORE YOU GOT IT. I ONCE HAD A ECON PROFESSOR EXPLAIN IT TO ME IN TERMS OF THE LAW OF DIMINISHING MARGINAL UTILITY. SIMPLY STATED OF COURSE IT WILL BE EXCITING IN THE BEGINNING TO BUY WHATEVER YOU WANT AND NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MONEY BUT EVENTUALLY IT WILL GET OLD AND IF YOU WERE UNHAPPY BEFORE YOU WILL BE UNHAPPY AGAIN. ALSO NOTE THERE IS NO NOBILITY IN POVERTY

The things I've read about the Law of Attraction say that happiness is the source of money. I'm trying to get accustomed to the idea without making happiness or money a god.

It sure doesn't buy happiness. A few yrs ago I was engaged to a man who was wealthy. We had a $350,000 condo built & I had the fun of selecting colors, flooring, etc. We also decided to get all new furniture. But the nearer we got to the closing date the more I realized that I couldn't live with him. So I'm back to being 'poor' (relatively speaking) again living from payday to payday.

But having money is fun & it was nice to feel financially secure. I enjoyed indulging my hobbies (he paid all my bills off & also pd all monthly bills) & buying gifts. Oh well. I am content with what I have & do not wish for more. If something more comes along, I will consider it a blessing but will also know that it isn't necessary for me to be happy.

It doesnt buy me happiness..but it certainly does help making me feel better.

Would you be better off with/without more money?

With millions stacked in your bank, im sure you could avoid the worries of tax, groceries, bills, labour, insurance and all those **** you had to deal with every month of your life. In other words, money does provide a guidance and directs you towards happiness. In actual fact, money does not really change people's characteristic. Thus many would think that a poor turning into a millionaire would be snobbish and lose all his friends and family, hence the conception that money is the root of all evil and would not bring you happiness. This is in fact untrue.

It is an article on lottery winners. Most of them actually still keep their jobs and find it happier to gain security in their income. It makes their lives easier and they would be able to use their disposable income to help others, in turn making themselves happier and giving them the feeling of being a better person.

Absolutely, and I am not fool enough to fake it and tell myself that this truth, is otherwise.
