I can only help you by telling you what we Jews believe based on our tradition from Moses:

Abraham had a wife named Sarah, and another named Hagar. Sarah's son was Issac. Isaac had two twin sons. His one son Jacob, became the father of the Jewish people, which you said wasn't the main concern of your question, so we will ignore it.

Isaac's second son was Esau. According to Jewish tradition, Esau's descendants split into 2 groups. One group founded a local country, and the other went off and became all the peoples of Europe. So we believe the Europeans are descended from Esau.

Abraham's other wife Hagar bore Ishmael, who is the father of all our Arab friends in the Middle East. The bible mentions he had a wife named Kettorah as well (Gen 25:1), but we believe Ketorah was Hagar, but G-d had changed her name.

Ketorah means incense, and G-d was pleased with how she had remained loyal to Abraham, so he gave her a name to reflect how the sweet smell of her loyalty had reached heaven.

Abraham had several more children after that who the Bible does not give names too. (Gen 25:6) Abraham sent them to the East when he was ready to pass away, and we believe they became the peoples of the far east.

As far as more detail, these are the names of Ishamel's sons: Nebaioth the firstborn of Ishmael, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish and Kedemah. (Gen 25:13)
