(x-2)inch is the length of the base of an right-angled triangle and (x-8)inch is the height of the triangle. Find the area of the triangle in sq feet.

math freak's problem doesn't make sense because the area of a triangle can't be 0.

I would just say that a particle varied motion with time with the equation x(t)=t^2+16-10t. and the question is, at what time, t, is the particle at 0?
