I think it's a winning combination. Welfare mothers get to slowly rebuild the skills necessary for today's workforce and the government gets to spend more hard-earned taxpayer money on additional welfare contributions to cover the future population increase.

No one can be forced to work in any profession for which they are neither qualified nor interested. Being on Welfare does not mean that you could not learn to work in a trade, or have any other type of work..Consider this, where are the fathers of these children, and why are they not supporting their families? I have never heard of any woman making herself pregnant, so look for the other half of this equation.
If, prostitution were legalized, a lot of greedy pimps would have to find other work, and act like real men. Best wishes

That's an awful thought. I agree with the above, forced prostitution is slavery and rape. I don't care what the woman is guilty of, that is not something anyone should be forced into.
I think the legalization of prostitution would just be another sign of the downward spiral our country is in.
I view pornography in any shape or form to be a huge problem in this country, that is directly related to the break-up of the family unit.
However, if it was ever legalized, I would say tax the heck out of it. I do not want to be paying for those people's medicare in the future because of the STD's they've gotten.

That is messed up; forcing anyone into prostitution. What if it was your mother?
Now I would entertain the idea of legalizing it so it could be regulated, taxed and screened for disease.
I think that welfare mom's should be forced to work at daycares for the other single mothers that want to work.

Forced prostitution is slavery and rape. So, no to that.
As far as legalized -- it depends on where you are. It's legal in some countries, and some parts of Nevada. It's illegal in most of the rest of the US.

No, but today most seem to think that they can get paid to be a prostitute, by both men and the government.

From the looks of most welfare mothers I've seen they wouldn't make much money.
