It might be challenging since you're in the New Orleans area and business activity isn't what it used to be, but check craigslist.org under the jobs section.

Cover all bases: Check your local papers and if you have transportation, ride around, make inquiry, leave your name and phone number, maybe a brief resume. Jobs will not come to you.
