So then, how do you propose that Americans can change Worldwide Global Warming Temps without the cooperation of the top ten polluters ? Be honest man, if we change everything. . . it won't make a bit of difference if the biggest polluters don't change their ways . . . . . . .. . .or do you have some fantastical story to tell us all ?

I may not personally believe what the liberal media is trying to shove down my throat about global warming, but here's MY question for all of you enthusiasts.
I've heard a lot of talk about a very simple solution to the problem....fluorescent lightbulbs. How many of you are using only fluorescent lightbulbs in your homes? If not, aren't you missing out on an opportunity to help your own cause? AND doesn't that imply YOU are creating global warming as we speak?
I may not purchase them because they'll stop global warming...I don't believe global warming is the big issue y'all are trying to tell me it is. If nothing else, I'd buy them because they last longer and save me money. Just something to think about.

I believe China is now number 1, they recently passed the USA.

Whether you believe in global warming or not, all our pollution will eventually catch up with us.

To deafeat global warming it is going to take changes from ALL nations. But the USA should be the leader.

I read somewhere that in the Kyoto accords that China, a big time Polluter, does not have to meet the requirements in some, if not all, areas.
Why? Because no one can stand Capitalism.

I wouldn't be surprised if we are number 1 we pollute everything and its like the majority of the populace is blind to the fact that "WE" are killing our own planet anyways it would take the biggest of the polluters all reducing their pollutants all at once to really make a difference . basically we're screwed in the long run.

I don't kno the exact rank, but I know that many countries are much worse than we are in many environmental catagories. China, India & Russia to name 3. The Kyota treaty was so bad for the US that Slick Willie didn't even submit it to the Senate.

Of course we can't change it by ourselves... But as the #1 energy consumer in the world per capita- if WE don't set an example, no one will. If we can shoot off our mouths about how "great & powerfull" we are as the World's only Superpower, then we can do alittle more about reducing carbon emissions...
