Depends on who you ask. I love country music, so of course I am going to say she is a great singer. Because, that is the genre she is in. I think mext to Martina McBride there are not many female country singers out there who can belt a good note like Carrie and get away with it. Can't wait to see what other people think...I think I know what they will say. For those who hate country music...they will say she sucks...just watch!!!

i might say they the two have distinctive voices yet i might say carrie underwood sounds candy and delicate beyonce sounds soul in her voice that's significant so if i had to %. id say beyonce because of the fact i pay attention to r&b yet keyshia cole is my woman Her voice is physically powerful in a no longer ordinary middle all out lovin it

no she isnt at all. she is a great female vocalist. even me a metal head will admit it. i love good voices in music even though 99% of the cds i own are metal its good to hear something else once in a while plus i cant help it i have to listen to other stff at work cuz i have no control over the radiohahahahahhaa

Yes, she is beyond terrible. Her voice is thin, reedy even. No power. And please don't call her a "country" singer. She is a pop singer with a fake twang.

no way! i think her voice is a little different (it does some wierd thing where it gets deep all of a sudden or something), but it is really good and all of her songs so far have been really awesome.

no i think she's pretty good.. i like her song 'before he cheats'.. but as an american idol i dont think she beats kelly clarkson
