I have a phone interview with Progressive for a customer service position. Does anyone have any idea what kinds of questions they will ask me? It is supposed to be an hour long interview! That just sounds super-intimidating to me. I'm sure it will be fine though if I can be somewhat prepared..
I hear it is a good place to work..

This is not a first job, but it's been a while since I've had any kind of real interview.
I've already filled out the application, sent over my resume, taken all the assessment tests.. Now all that's left is the phone interview...
And if I pass that, I'll need to worry about the face-to-face interview.. :) It's great though - Progressive is literally 5 minutes from my house.. Wish me luck!!

Why do you want to work there?
Why do you think they can use you??
Where to do you want to be a year from now?

Speak clearly and confidently, be polite and businesslike. Answer "yes" or "No.' not yea, or nah! It;s Mister,Mrs, or Miss, unless told otherwise.

Have a bottle of water handy, take a sip of your throat feels dry.

Don't get flustered. Don't exaggerate your past accomplishments, be a little modest, but don't minimize them either.

I want to hear that you are scheduled for an in-person interview. Good Luck.

PS> Sounds like a first job. Ins co's are EXCELLENT places to start. Why??They're very structured, a good place to learn how to take ordes and do a job they way you are expected to do it. and many have excellent training and potential to move up.

Excellent company and their customer service is top notch, they do thorough background checks and more so look alive. The actual application is like 6 pages long. They used to be an insurance client of the company I previously worked for and I had a chance to get to know some of the employees there well at their Austin location. Good luck over the phone and don't forget to let them hear the smile in your voice.
