I love that the Lakers were destroyed, but I hate that they were destroyed by the Mavericks. I simply hate the Mavericks, especially because of Mark Cuban.

Wow, you sure are a pr**!
Let's think about some facts (and I'm not even a Lakers fan... just a decent basketball fan):
The Lakers were playing without:
-Lamar Odom (2nd best player of their team)
-Luke Walton (who was doing an excellent job when healthy)
-Vladimir Radmanovic (who also was giving up some major ups)
-Other players out for the season
Smush Parker also got the kick off in the 2nd quarter after picking up 2 technicals.
And they managed to lose by only 36 points to the best team of the league? I think they played poorly yeah, but I don't think they deserve any mean comments like yours.
And btw, Lakers don't suck... they're 6th in the West... with teams like Dallas, SA and Phoenix up there, it's a real good number.
Kobe sucks? wow, man, I wonder what a good player is for you. Kobe has been playing great recently, dishing out more and more assists.
I suggest you cut the crap a bit and start appreciating the sport a little bit more... Oh, and why not get a life while you're at it?

This isn't really about whether the Lakers suck or not, (remember they're still the 6th seed) it's about the Mavs "exorcising old demons", Before yesterday, the Mavs had lost 29 of 31 in Los Angeles, including a streak-stopper earlier this season. The Mavs felt that they had to "seize the moment" and take the game over to let the Lakers know, that the 29 games you beat us (including the one that the Mamba went out for 62) are ancient history, and now we're going to make history of our own by giving you the worst home loss in history, and win the season series. The next demon to be exorcised is Golden State. Dating back to last season they've beaten the Mavs 4 straight. And I know how important that Avery will prepare for that, becuase the defining moment on wedenesday when Steve Nash and the Suns come into town...

Dallas is my favorite team
Lakers are my second favorite team
but i cant defend the lakers forever
Kobe is flopping like crazy.
I dont watch basketball to watch 7 foot tall men fall on the floor after being barely touched by another player.
As of now
i think kobe deserves an oscar rather than a MVP
So much for the lakers record of beating Dallas at home.
If smush wasnt ejected, and Odom and Walton were healthy, i think the game would have been way closeer.
I hope Dirk gets it this year
he definately deserves it

It shows that the Lakers are not a team that will go far in a talented Western Conference. Grant it, they've probably exceeded expectations with a OK roster minus kobe. This team lacks depth, unlike the team they just played. The Dallas Mavericks

it means nothing. even if the lakers got blown away by say, 40 points, it still won't mean a damn thing. from an unbiased point of view, it just shows how immature some people are. GROW UP!
note: in this game, Lakers = no Odom, Walton, Radmanovic, etc.
let's see how your faces will look like if your favorite team's star players get injured.
at least act maturely guys...

The Lakers should've rebuild around Shaq not Kobe. He's no team leader. I hope Dirk wins MVP and Dallas wins Championship.
My MVP top three
1. Dirk Nowitzki (I thik that's how you spell it)
2. Chris Bosh
3. T-Mac

as i dallas fan i love it but the lakers don't suck cuz they stopped one of our last big win streaks but i still dislike the lakers and kobe anyways
17 in a row is impressive - it helps to beat playoff contenders such as the lakers as well

Everybody is blowing the laker's this year, why should Dallas be in different.
Maybe Dallas should trade for Kobe... Im sure the Laker's would be happy to have the distaction out of the way so they can get back to playing basketball.
