Whenever I go out all dressed with my make-up on guys whistle, smile, or yell but never come up to me. But when I look like crap and don't wear any make-up at all guys do stare a lot and come up to me. Why is that? Do you like the natural look or something?

We like girls who wear makeup that makes it look like they are not wearing makeup. Natural beauty or what can pass for natural beauty is where it is at. The overmade look will always look trampy. Not that we don't like trampy, but we just don't take it seriously.

I'm not a guy -- but maybe when you've got your make-up on your projecting a slightly different image that makes you seem unapproachable. I know when I wear make-up, I do act slightly differently. When you "look like crap" --maybe it's the fact that you aren't worried about what others are thinking and are more approachable -- hence they come and talk to you.
People do like the natural look so go with as little enhancement that you can especially if you're in your teens/early 20's --- you have vitality and just joy of life shining through and that in itself is a beautiful thing.

i want to know the same thing... when i wear make up (and look hot) no guys approach me. I do act a little differently, so maybe when you look extra beautiful you give off the impression that you are unapproachable and a little stuck up. When you have no make up on, you proably seem nicer and more approachable. i dunno, i really want to hear some good answers though.

It depends. Some girls can do just fine with little to no makeup. You're probably one of them, so if you overdo it, you certainly won't be taken seriously. So unless you're studying to be a mime, easy with that stuff. Besides, it clogs the pores something fierce.

It sounds to me like you're you're young and naturally beautiful. Maybe you're wearing a little too much make-up when you go out.

Lol. I'm not a guy, but I guess so. It depends though, some people don't need makeup cause they got natural beauty. ^^ I don't wear makeup unless its special occassions, but boys will be boys.. =]
