i'd be in shock... and i'd have to decide if they really meant it and then tell them how i feel. i take those words seriously, so no i wouldnt say it back. for me, it takes time. which i usually end up saying "sorry, i only like you...but etc." get to know the person first, before you say the L word.

I told a guy I loved him once because I thought he would kill me (literally) if I didn't. Discovered death would have been a better alternative.
