what can i do to keep the cat away from my lizzard

buy a fish aquarium that has a lid you can snap into place. kind of a lock thingy on top of it...hope this helps!!!

Well, your question is odd, as it implies that your cat is around your gecko when he is not shedding.
You can use a spray bottle to keep the cat away, or keep the gecko in a room with a closed door. Its not that hard. I have five reptiles(oops, six, just got another turt). All of them are in their own room to keep it warm and practical.
So it shouldn't be that hard. If the gecko is in its own little area and its in a cage, it shouldn't matter. You need to make sure it is secure though.

Keep t in a room that the cat can not get into. Make sure it has a tight lid that locks into place.
