what's the best screen resolution for a design portfolio made on flash? 640x480 or 800x600 or what?

800x600 is standard for flash site. 1024x768 will cause scroll bars in small browser windows...unless you are targeting larger displays and not the general public.

I would definately go with the 800x600 resolution because 640x480 will make you look like you are about 2 decades in the past. 1024 x 768 would probably be best.
