From what store is the best place to buy Betta fish from?

I've tried looking in places like Wal Mart and Meijers, but they're bettas look sickly and near to death. Which stores has the most vibrant colored and healthy looking ones for a good price?

Fish stores.I have had mine for 2 years.Color is from the food ,get a good food for them.Males have more color and bigger fins.<><
