I agree . He's Independent ,so he calls it as he sees it ..sometimes a little strong on Republicans - I too wish we wouldn't let the liberals slide on every rotten thing they do to hurt this country .
The phoniest Republican I can think of is Schwarzenegger .
What I like about Savage is he won't sugar-coat those radical liberals . He knows them inside & out , through & through & he does crack me up . As a Republican , of course I don't want to hear him "nail" my party-but knowing he isn't pushing an agenda at me ..I tolerate it ..to a point . But there are times when I agree that Republicans really need to get tougher . Why are liberals getting a pass on all their attacks on America / and / or our military ..to the brink of treason and back- while we are at war ?

Michael Savage nails everyone who he thinks is wrong five days a week.
Of course, Savage himself has never made any mistakes. He's right on every issue. At least, that's the way he sees it.
Honestly, every good talk show host should present themselves that way. Otherwise, it makes them seem very boring to the audience.
Savage is good, but he's just hard to listen to every day. I see enough anger on the road going to and from work that I don't need an extra helping on the radio.

I personally think he has anger issues. And I'm fairly conservative.
I have trouble with any pundit who fancies himself a journalist spouting nothing but angry tirades about the "left" or the "right." It isn't news. It's punditry. The two aren't even marginally related. I really loathe listening to talking heads/talk show radio personalities who use every breath to demonize the other "side"-- liberals or conservatives.
It's not black and white like that. The Democrats aren't responsible for all of society's evils. Neither are the Republicans. It's better to try to achieve some semblance of objectivity and present all sides of an issue without being overly partisan.

I podcast him every day and he hasn't failed to nail them to the wall yet. I wish it was seven days a week, but I guess Savage needs a break, too.

Listen to him just about every night on WGY Schenectady, NY. He definitely don't pull no punches, and he definitely doesn't care whether you agree with him or not! He tells it like it is. Though I kinda feel sorry for people when he hangs up on them.

Um, I'd say both.
Sometimes Savage is great and right on the money.
But other times he goes overboard and gets too angry to be truly effective.
