I've seen a lot of girls fall for guys that meet any or all of these descriptions:
-long sideburns
-tall, as in taller than her and taller than most other guys
-curly hair, the type that looks like a mini afro
-evidentally muscular
-dresses like a prep with tight, striped shirts and a nice pair of jeans
It's just an observation I've witnessed WAY too much when I'm out in public. What's the obsession with these preppy tall dudes with sideburns? Does that leave all the rest of us guys out of luck? It sure seems that way when I look back at it all.

different girls fall for different guys. There is no particular type of guy that all or even the majority of girls like, there is some one for everyone,i particularly hate sideburns

Ew. That sounds like maybe people are getting back into the 70s mindset? Sideburns and fros should rarely mix. Especially not with preppy clothes. Maybe I'm not picturing it right, but to me that doesnt sound so great...
You're not out of luck, if these guys can get girls then I'm sure you can too! (hahaha?)

NONE of that i find attractive. If a guy dresses like a prep( no offense to any preppy-guys ) i really don't find them attractive. And being tall and muscular aren't really that great either. So, yes all of you other guys have a chance. I don't really see the obsession with preppy guys either, especially the ones with nothing but holister and abercrombie in their closet. I like a very laid back style, t-shirt jeans kinda guy.
Just my opinion though :)

Tall and muscular guys obviously are more attractive to women. Just like hot, thin girls are more attractive to men.
I don't know about the sideburns. Definately not an important point. But I like men that show they have the ability to grow facial hair nicely.
I like dark black hair a little wavey. Just my thing.
Yes I like the prep look more. It is more classy and respectable. Do you like a girl that dresses like a skid???

This is just my opinion but i do think guys like that are hot except for the curly hair part. i prefer clean cut spiky haired guys with preppy clothes like abercrombie or hollister. i love tall guys because im rather short. They're hot but once you get passed all the physical stuff you better have a good personality. In that department i adore funny guys.

I'm with a bald gotee'd guy with no side burns. He's big but not muscular and taller than me, and at 20 years old still can't put on matching clothes, lol. Good thing he wears a uniform to work. Oh yeah, guys in uniform, is that another "hot guy" stereotype?

sideburns are a joke and ugly....
tall is good (but my husband is only 5'5", the shortest guy I ever dated)
I don't care for afro's, mini or not...D A T E D look
I 'm not into the muscle thing...
I like nice tight jeans...(rearends can be cute to look at)

They look so HOT and they look like good boys with the preppy look so its perfect!! but that doesnt mean that girls dont fall for different guys with different looks

I personally don't find that description very attractive and I'm sure tons of other girls don't either. So don't worry about it too much.

yucky, I don't like sideburns. I deffinately don't like preps either... and curly hair.. IIIII don't think so. lol. I think the cutest ones are the rebellion little punkers. lol
