In what way was the German attack on France similar to the beginning of World War I?

...how was the German attack on France through Belgium (taking France by surprise) and destroying the Maginot Line similar to the beginning of WWI?

They used the same tactics, and the French weren't smart enough to think that they would go through belgium again.

Also, Begium really had no say in what the Germans did in their country because they were so vulerable both times.

It was similar becaues we invaded this land and Germany invaded Europe
