the blood would clot and, if not counter-acted quickly, the person might die. This is because A type blood has different antigens in it that would cause the O type blood to attack it. O blood can be given to someone with A, however, because the O doesnt have any antigens on it for the A blood to attack.

People with type O blood have antibodies to type A and B blood. Therefore, if type A blood cells are introduced into the body of a person with Type O blood, their antibodies will attack the blood cells and kill them. With a large transfusion, this immune response may be large enough to kill you. It would be like a super flu.

Someone with type O blood has no antigens in it so if they are given blood with A antigens (A blood) their body would reject it, view it as a foreign substance and attack it (like it would a virus). No doubt, it would kill the person.

Coaggulation. People with type O blood have antibodies against type A & B. (However, people with type O blood are universal donors.)
