My guess is he knows not returning your calls is pissing you off. So, if he knows you want out anyway, then why be cooperative when he can make life miserable for you? Not that it's right, just the way it usually works when you're trying to end a relationship.

Borrow the money from a friend or family member and just get it over with (credit card, personal loan, pay advance, lots of ways to get $350 bucks). You'll be done with him and can move on.

Good luck!

Who wanted the divorce? The reason I ask is I am going thru the exact same thing, where I live there is a no fault clause, meaning it does not matter who wants the divorce. My estranged husband left me last summer and wanted a divorce but when it comes to getting everything settled he is pussy footing around. He even cancelled his cell phone so now I can't even contact him!! I filed the papers, served him and now he was forced to get a lawyer and proceed with things. I mean he wanted this in the first place, then he disappears off the face of the earth!! I think he was having an affair, so that is why he has gone in hiding!! Loser!!. As well, I think he knows what I deserve from the settlement and he is stalling so he doesn't have to oew me anything. Oh how wrong he is!! We are now finally meeting with our lawyers in a couple of weeks. Anyways, good luck to you and serve his *** cause he cannot avoid divorce papers!!!

He is saving money by letting you come up with the full cost because he doesn't care whether you are divorced or not. You can always ask an attorney if you can pay a portion of the fee and file on your husband for the remaining balance. This is allowed in Indiana, but I don't know about other states. You might even be able to get the lawyer to get your original up front payment refunded back to you by filing on your husband for that too. Good Luck.

Keep saving until you have the lot. Don't worry about him putting his bit in because I don't think he will contribute. If you desprately want this divorce and hard as it is to save when you don't have much you will find a way or wait until he moves on and decides to remarry and wants a divorce sorted and let him pay. He doesn't want to cough up any money

Honey, he's waiting for you to file the papers. Then all he has to do is appear. He sounds like one of those guys who doesn't seem to like to be bothered with anything....including marriage, or divorce. So just pay for it in advance and ask for half to be awarded to you in the divorce. It's about the best you are going to do if you really want the divorce.

I Wish you luck!

Maybe he doesn't want a divorce and he's just avoiding you. Either way, if you have him served with paperwork he can't ignore the papers because it's from the court - he'll have to show up.

If you want the divorce you just may have to pay for all of it... This way it is done and you can move on with your life... He may not want the divorce or out of the marriage. Get a lawyer and file and be done with it... Seems to me like he does not want to pay for the divorce.

Avoiding all possible costs. and or trying to hold on to something he is not willing to confront. Pay for it and divorce him before he gets off to somewhere you cannot find him. If that happens it will create alot more costs and time.

He probably thinks your coming back I would just move on with my life and wait for the paperwork to catch up.
