Don't go for the most expensive teacher you can find- it's not the guideline to the best. If your local community college or university has a music department, check out whom they might recommend. Often singing students are quite willing to teach for less than the full-time people charge.

Pick a random song by this artist...listen and sing along to it for 6 hours straight, but everytime u listen, make it a goal to make your voice better every time. I did this with Barbra Streisand songs (stayed up all night) and my voice improved so much in just a few days that it made my high school choir instructor take notice. He was very impressed and made me lead alto. Good luck.

- placing the sound at different registers (head, chest, nose, whistle)..
basically, play around with your voice..go high, go low, loud, soft, waver, holding the breath, etc..
and this coming from a *considered* natural singer, there really isn't much I can help you with.. sorry..

i'd say sing every day and do vocal exercises.
I learnt these in music class and if u do these everyday, ur singing voice is supposed to become stronger.
1. meaning, naming.........
2. ah......eh....ee.......oh.......oo
3. bubbly bubbly bah...............
4. nah noo, nah noo........
These are suppose to help. But make sure u do them every day!
