The hot lava caused the oil to vaporize into a flammable gas. This is what explodes. And don't park you boat next to an active volcano.

An explosion is rapid oxidation. Hydrocarbon products can burn very fast, especially when subjected to heat above their flash point.

Flowing lava exceeds the flash point of oil and almost everything else.

the heat transfers to the inner hull in which the high degree of heat starts combustion and the high pressure can't get out so the force is too strong and BOOM!!!!!

prolly because the gases expands fast in a tight compartment not leaving space thus causing an explosion.
