its nice to know that there are still kind people like you on this planet. I guess money talks alot these days. Best is to educate people and to live within their means.

You need not travel all the way up to kedah/ kelantan for ur thesis. Poverty is all over the Malaysia. Just go to some estates/ flat house/ hospital, they are plenty of them.

1. Good family planning. They are families who collectively earn about Rm 1000/ month but have to feed 8 children.

2. Get the students into university based on merit that would solve the unemployment in Malaysia.

how to eradicate poverty? Its up to the individual, how driven can a person be to change their status. I knew a few kelantanese men who are happy to remain unemployed while the wife is sent to work. Wife will find money to pay bills, put food on the table, give monthly allowance to the husband and provide him car that he fancies. At the same time these men expect their wives to cook when they get home from work and expects the wives to respect them as head of the family. There was an old kelantanese man who said he cant understand why all his daughter in law ran away leaving his sons behind..The answer was so crystal clear yet he couldn't see.
This unemployment syndrom has been seen and said for a long time. We can be poor today but i bet you with hard work and perservation, we will not be poor tomorrow. Provided something is done in the mean time. But for some people, they give up easily, thinking that money falls from the sky. If you want to be a doctor, what are the platforms you have to go through before u get there? Maybe these people lack guidance. Nobody becomes ceo overnight unless u can pull some string.

There are a few steps to eradicate poverty:
1. Education
Poverty can prolong from one generation to another. To stop this we have to explain to the people that education is a long term investment. When their children have a better education and qualification he/she can get a better job, good salary hence change the life of the family.
2. Hardwork
Sometimes people in rural area are not working hard. They prefer to rely on government help and subsidies. We have to motivate them in such a way that if they work hard they can earn more and they are independent from being played by the politicians during election. When they are poor the politicians will always take advantage on them by giving a lot of empty promises.
3. Go out from the 'comfort' environment
Majority of people in rural areas live in enough is enough environment. We have to urge them to go out and see other places. By travelling to other places they can experience what and how other people earn the living...
4. Cut off the middle man
We know that some rural people especially rubber tappers are hard working but they could not earn enough as they pay too much for the middle man. E.g: During rainy season when they could not go for work they have to take advance money from the middle man who buy their products. But the amount that they have to payback is 50% higher than what they have borrowed. We have to find ways to solve this issue.
5. " Do not give me fish but teach me how to catch fish"
The government must not keep giving subsidies and help in term of money to the rural people. But the government must introduce new technology which is related to the works of the people. By constantly enhance the technology the productivity will increase hence better earning for the people.

As for the unemployment, the attitude take precedence. There are many jobs around if we are not choosy. As for school leavers we have to encourage them to get the right and useful skills. For example encourage them to be a specialist mechanic or heavy equipment operator. For young graduates just pick up any works that come across first. From there on improve your working, communication and social skills.

set up a special task force to rob politicians and distribute to the poor. modern 'robin hood'.

haha. im just joking. politicians !! please dont ELIMINATE me ! i admire u guys actually! i even have the words 'wanna b politichen~(without diploma or wateva) ' tattooed across my chest

ok, we start from the cause of poverty, most employers tend to hire foreigners like indons, nepals, bcoz they are cheaper n considered hard workers.

so that leaves malaysians no choice but to work as supervisors or managers. but their diploma/certificate is nothing but toilet papers. coz the foreign universities or wateva colleges are nothing but a bunch of blood-sucking institutes that didnt provide actually working experience.
look at Bill Gates, Donald trump or whoever that u know that is extremely rich and famous, do they have diploma/cert?

what we need is some sort of "hands on experience" schools. like technical electronics school or something that provides much more value than TOILET PAPER.

1) For as long as there are lazy and choosie people, unemployment will prevail.

2) Poverty cannot be eradicated, instead can be reduced to a acceptable level.
