We are paying for the inactive congress that has permitted the auto makers and big oil to do what they want for 50 years. You can't blame the conservatives for that because most of the time the liberals were in charge and of course gave away the country for campaign contributions and trips. Dummycrats profess allegiance to the poor while sticking it to them. The rich know how to charge back everything back to the taxpayers. Look at how the dummycrats permitted corporations to shift the burden of pensions and health care to taxpayers instead of impounding corporate assets before they could be pocketed by the few big winners.

i do not do no longer ignore that goofball affirming something like "the conflict will pay for itself". I save in ideas he became affirming something about DubyaEmDees, or Nukyalur initiatives, or something else like that... we are not truly sending funds to Iraq, it truly is more suitable like we are throwing funds into the wind contained in the final section - and admittedly it may help if we did not stress SUV's contained in the city, or revised the EPA to enable us convert gas autos to E-80 5 (at the moment unlawful, yet could fee $400-$seven hundred in line with vehicle) So, quite than whinge about a guy rather a lot out of place of work, why do not you DO something? i purchased an electric powered lawnmower, snowthrower, and traded in my gas vehicle for an FFV, bought about 50 CFL's, and a gaggle of rechargable batteries (have a newborn, various toys). Make me suitable? NO, yet i'm a minimum of appearing on it.

When Bush first suggested the invasion of Iraq, they asked who is going to pay for this war?

The administration's answer was, "the oil we get from Iraq will pay for the war".

Have you heard anything about Iraq's oil?

Have you heard who is getting it?

Have you heard how much oil they are getting from Iraq?

NO! And you won't.

It is an illegal takeover of another country's assets (in this case: oil) by an invading aggressor force (THE USA) for private profit at the expense of the people of the world.

Bush and his cronies have perpetrated the largest theft in the history of the world. And we, the people are paying for it

He has stolen from us!

Yes! We are paying for the "war" in Iraq in the price of oil,
but we will pay more by the revenge (the eye for an eye middle east philosophy) extracted by the Iraqis
and their Muslim brothers (who the administration calls 'terrorists').

The saddest part of this whole scenario is that the American
people are too stupid to understand what's going on in front of them and too lethargic to do anything about it.

Actually, Bush keeps borrowing money from other countries,
like China to support his war.
As for the price of gas, it looks like the $26.6 billion the
oil companies made in profit, just wasn't enough to support
all of their princes, golden palaces & CEO's salaries & pensions.

Its not just gas prices. Prices of everything are up because the US has had a major devaluation of its currency. You can't add trillions of dollars of debt to the economy and expect the dollar will retain its purchasing power.

We are definitely paying for it? I mean gas prices have risen a whopping .30 cents here where I live....and that's just in a couple of days. I heard that the US has there own gas that we can be using for a lot cheaper but they choose not to so that just in case something happens....
ugh..hello...we need it now.... wouldn't it be a good idea to boycott their gas and use ours...they need us as much as we need them??? It makes sense??

Of course! In FACT, we're paying for it TWICE; one way in the cost of the War itself, and another at the pump... I guess we're getting hit coming (oil coming from Iraq), and going (our money & boys going to Iraq). Isn't that just grand?! :)
