My exboyfriend cheated on me. We dated for one whole year. And I was the only girl who he told had lying problems. We were really close...so close, that I felt smothered by him because he was extremely needy. Like I had lost my own identity by being 'as one' with him. Now, a year later, he wants to be my friend and acts as if nothing bad happened between us. He never apologized for cheating either and claims he didnt cheat...which is another lie.

Should I be friends with someone who cheated on me? I get nervous and butterflies in my stomach everytime I talk to him. Not a good feeling...I just dont know if i can trust him again.

I miss him sometimes...sighs, iono. He's the type of guy who had probs calling me a b*tch and apologizing for it...and then does it again and again...

Trust is extremely crucial in any type of relationship. So if you cannot trust him, I don't think you can be friends with him. Furthermore, he hurt you by cheating on you, and to add insult to injury, he won't even admit to it, much less apologize for his hurtful actions. This does not sound like someone you should be friends with.

He is trying to hold on because he is a pu$sy! Cut him loose, he is a user. He needs to grow up and act like a man. But most of all he needs to learn to be honest, what a little bi,tch

Did we date the same guy??? I still freak out when I see my ex even though I am married with a baby now. I havent seen him since the day before I got married but when I think about him it makes me feel really weird because of the way he treated me. We tried to get back together a couple times and then we tried to be friends and it was shot from the first kiss! It was a horrible relationship but so good at the same time. I am glad I am away from him and moved on and I am glad he is stuck with the tramp he is with now! Let it go and let him find new friends.

OK, so he said that he didn't cheat on you. Fine! But, since you believe different, then leave it at that and move on. Don't waste your precious time trying to convince him that you know that he did. You have much better things to do with your life than to hash this around with him.

Sure, you can be friends. Distant that is. Fill your spare time with positive things to do and eventually he will get the hint. That is if he respects your friendship.

So, in other words I am saying to you, just keep him as an acquaintance with whom you had a friendship.

Don't waste your time.

Once a cheat always a cheat.

You deserve better than that. Nobody deserves to be called names. Find your self esteem and get back out there and look for a guy to treat you the way you should be treated

there are soooo many people in this world that you can be friends with. it won't be a loss to you not to have him as a friend when there are so many that could step up to take his place and do the job 100 times better!!! no need to lower your standards and risk him hurting you again!
