My husband had a vasectomy just over 5 years ago. I have never been "on time" with my monthly, so when I say I haven't had it in 3 months now, don't be shocked. (I can go 8 months without it) But here lately, my stomach has grown harder, I seem to get tired more, (I work retail) and all I want to do is sleep. I also have alot of acid coming up, and in the morning/afternoon, I start getting sick and dizzy, mainly when I don't eat. We have 2 kids together, ages 6 and 5, and he tells me all the time, that we can't have another one, and if we do, it's not his. Could it be a pregnancy or just me about ready to start my "monthly"?

Your body is different then everyone elses so there is no right answer for this. The best thing to do is see your doctor and see what they say.

Why havent you tested yet? Get a test and you will know for sure. It is possible, vasectomies are not 100% and unless you have messed around it is his kid. I would be hurt if my husband implied that it wasn't his kid, maybe you should educate him that no birth control is 100% foolproof. I am not sure how old you are but the other option could be menopause with what you describe of your irregular cycles. Good luck.

Pregnancy after a V is not unheard of at all! It could be this or one of many other things. I would take a HPT and if it is Negative I would go see the Dr. My husband had a V and I have always wondered about this happening...........keep us updated on the verdict!! Good luck.
~~If you do happen to be expecting, your hubby can provide a sample and the Dr. can tell him right then if he is shooting blanks or not!

Either. Get a test.

And yes, it could be his. Sometimes vasectomies don't "take" and he can always have his semen tested by his doctor for presence of sperm if it turns out that you are pregnant. Don't get defensive about it if you get a positive test, and sit down and rationally have a talk with him about it. Take him to the doctor with you to tell him, if you have to. It might help to have someone right there who can answer all of his questions.

It is possible to get pregnant after vasectomy of your partner, the vas or little tube that they clip and sear can grow back. They used to not clip it back enough in case the guy changed his mind but after many lawsuits they started to clip it so the ends would not regrow.
