Why don't you just call your local Planned Parenthood and ask? As far as I know, Planned Parenthood doesn't do abortions, they refer you to a clinic.

To all of you giving thumbs-down: She didn't ask anyone to preach or rant about it. She didn't even say she was having an abortion. She asked how much they cost. SO I answered her question. Leave me alone, for being honest.

I work for Planned Parenthood and I am a paramedic - Please listen to me!

First of all, if you haven't told your parents about this, you need to. You are going to need support and care during this entire ordeal. Also, in most states, if you are under the age of 17 (18 in some states), you have to have parental consent to have an abortion performed. You can find a listing of state laws here :http://www.coolnurse.com/abortion_laws.htm

Second, the cost is in the range of $400 to $600, depending on which procedure is safest for you. Procedures also depend on how far along in the pregnancy you are.

Like I said before, you need to tell your parents/guardians about this. Then you need to do some research on abortion options and procedure. You should also know that there is often a 24-48 hour waiting period for abortions for young girls - in this waiting period, you will be required to speak to a counselor about what you are considering and what will happen during the procedure (if that is the route that you take).

Lastly, just because you are young and scared, please don't do something that could put your life at risk. The decisions that you make in this situation could very well affect the rest of your life and your ability to carry children in the future.

Please educate yourself - go to http://www.plannedparenthood.org

Best of luck to you. I know you are going through a hard time right now, I work with young women such as yourself every single day. Just know that the decisions you make have to be made for YOURSELF. No one else can tell you or make you do anything that you don't want to do. Your parents, family and medical professionals will not judge you.

Whatever the cost in money is the cost is much higher for you in other areas- An abortion first of all, costs the baby his/her life. Second of all, it does not just fix the problem. You can have many things happen to you physically and emotionally. I counsel young girls who are pregnant or have had abortions and I know this to be true. You can bleed excessively, you can have a torn uterus. You may have an abortion that does not remove all the parts of the fetus, which can cause infections and more surgery would be needed. You will remember taking the life of your child. Guilt, shame, and other emotions can be with you forever. I know you are young- I have a daughter who is your age. Adoption is a great option. Please call your local pregnancy help clinic, and they can make sure that you get all the info you need, before you get an abortion. Planned Parenthood will not share any risks with you. Please think very hard about this. I do not know if you can email but if you can, please email me, I would love to share more with you.

Don't do abortion, any kind of one. It hurts you emotionally and physically, and is definitely not safe. Thousands of women die every year from abortions. Killing an innocent child is not right. If you feel unable to care for it then lots of infertile couples would love a chance for a newborn. Seek help from your parents about this decision, it is too much weight to bear for just you.

Your age had nothing to do with how much an abortion will cost. It all depends on how far along you are. The further along you are the more it will cost. And i work right next door to a planned parenthood, and no they do not do abortions, well at least not here in missouri.

They have just started doing abortions free of charge, but there is a 12 month waiting list! Book early to avoid the rush!

Joking aside, just go and talk them, then won't bite and they won't call you a silly cow, they will be very understanding.

Who cares! Don't harm that poor baby. Put it up for adoption. There are plenty of childless couples in the world.

1) you have to be 18 to get it done without a parent or guardian
2) it was $380 for me because i have RH- blood.
3) this sounds odd but ask about a student discount. I got one!
Good luck! and make your own decisions!!!!
