My husband and I went and it seemed to be working...but then he chickened out and wants a divorce. It's all such a big mess. I just wish I could find the rewind button. Our children are suffering. I guess I am just looking for some words of encouragement...either way it works out. Stay married or divorce.

I tried everything because I came from a divorced family
situation.I went to counseling,church,begged,and pleaded,but once the foundation is gone you have little hope to make it
work.It takes two willing people in a relationship.giving 100%.
So, don't beat yourself up let it go, if he's not willing to contributed to your marriage,put it all on him to change ,and you will waste a lot of time.Best of Luck...Kids do Recover

What is Retrouvaille for marriage? I have not idea what it even is so not we did not go there.... Why did he chicken out and want a divorce.... To me if he wants out let him go and seek counseling and help for you and how you are feeling and move on with your life and love and be there for your kids. Good luck to you. You cannot make someone love and want to be with you so sometimes it is best to just let them go. Here comes lots of hugs to you today and you are in my thoughts and prayers. My heart goes out to you and your children.
