In the play, "Taming of the Shrew" would you consider Katherine fully tamed, or is she just playing along with Petruchio's game?

I think Katherine began to appreciate his wit, intelligence and impeccable endearments. She falls in love and, as any woman in love, her greatest happiness is making him happy. It was love that transformed her and she truly appreciates what he did for her. She was hateful and she became loving. That's the difference between hell and heaven. As far as playing along with his game, all women do that, to a certain extent, too, when they're in love.

She's just playing along. She was forced into submission.
A character like hers could never be changed. Not for real.

I don't think Shakespeare really intended us to believe that she was really tamed. It IS after all a comedy.
