In the 8th grade he played on the Rose Hill High varsity in Ashland, Ky where he led them in scoring. He then transferred to North College Hill in Cincinnati and led them to 3 straight state titles playing alongside Bill Walker (Kansas St.) After several incidents of trouble he was dismissed from the team and came to his hometown of Huntington High. He just two days ago was arrested for marajuana possession. I saw him play againg Oak Hills last year and he was phenomenal, one of the best high school players ever. I'm just not sure he can stay out of trouble long enough.

i might certainly say that O.J Mayo is a baller! LeBron grew to become into the 1st participant to have the hype as a intense schooler, and as quickly as he left, anybody began speaking approximately Mayo. He has ruled especially lots everywhere he went, yet has some themes which will placed some flags up approximately him, like the dunk that he ooped to himself and have been given ejected interior the championship pastime. some human beings think of it grew to become into him leaving with a bang, yet once you're a participant like Stephon Marbury, come on now. And shall we no longer forget approximately the broken jaw he did in a pickup pastime with USC teammate Daniel Hackett, which one participant pronounced Mayo punched him, however the coaches and gamers in touch replaced the story to the media. My opinion, he would be an above customary participant interior the NBA, yet is not extra effective than Derrick Rose from Memphis, the subsequent D. Wade, and you will see that when he's drafted #a million or #2 purely before Mayo!

Yeah the guy likes to knock down old referees. I saw some footage of him on youtube. After getting a charge while dunking he got up in the other players face about the dunk. You're thinking to yourself, Hello Moron you just turned the ball over, why are you getting so excited about a dunk that doesn't count?
I agree with Scott B lots of ability but a terrible attitude that isn't likely to improve. Btw, great post Scott, I knew he went to high school in Ohio before Huntington because I remember a piece on him on Sportscenter when he was in 9th grade, but I couldn't remember where in Ohio.
