The wrestling "industry" already exists, but good luck starting a local wrestling league.
To attract stars and a following, start with some "tough man" type matches. Hand out flyers at local colleges and construction sites.

Are you offering all travel and lodging expenses with good amenities (none of those cheap dives please), guaranteed contracts with high downside agreements, a light travel schedule, creative control, quality buffet style catering that included Mahi Mahi and greek salad? Maybe then we can talk about my Goldberg esque asking salary.
