Is the soul "the real boss" of us?

not in my opinion.

see... the soul and mind have a relationship in the brain and entire body all of the time. but the will is a function of mind and may over-rule our feeling principles in the moment. and the soul do not force ever.

this is why people created in the image of the Creator can kill and deceive. because their own minds have been controlled by thoughts in relationship to the world and experience in spite of the very souls/spirit of these people. which would have been communicating quite different messages of love in the ideas created fears which have taken hold of them.

since the mind creates fear of ideas in relationship to soul which holds responsibility for feelings. therefore soul relates fear to minds ideas ... can you accept..? now then...how to know what is love of soul..and have proper relationship with internal messaging.

and therefore respond most beneficial for All of Self .

i am getting better at it...but i still need help with these ideas.

It may just be me but it makes my brain hurt to contemplate the relationship between the brain and soul.
I am not even going to try to answer this question but just offering more questions for these people or super evolved animals to answer. Like I said it makes my brain hurt to consider this question and others like.. How do these molecules of atoms of protons and electrons that make up the matter of our bodies, that makes us what we are in the places we be? Why does the awareness of physical suffering of other make my soul hurt and my brain feels just fine? When I get dehydrated, why does my brain hurt but my soul can feel just fine? Why is it when my friend put a bullet in his brain my soul was devastated but by brain was jut fine? I could go on and on but in the end what does it matter?
Apparently it is easier to believe that some random explosion happened millions of years ago. Which resulted in what you see today than to believe that the human body could house a soul that was created.

I am well aware of my ignorance s and I apologies for my grammar it has never been my strongest talent.

The soul is not present in your brain when you are born. It is acquired gradually. All your feelings are made and if you are soulless, you can't have any sense of good and bad.
Everything is meaningless, but your soul which is contagious -- tells you that "this" is meaningful. "that" is meaningless. Your soul is your application of teachings which have been applied to "your" brain.
Without the soul, you will be unconscious like a tree. You will not feel that the body is yours. The soul is nothing more than a disease. Your sense of good and evil, of meaning makes you godless. You should feel this "unexplicable", Almighty, this "origin of the universe". Don't care about small meaning such as the soul.

i don't believe a soul controls our brain.
Our brain dose alot of functions, breathing, walking, talking all these functions come from our brain.
Our brain controls our body..

Its our Higher self / Soul. . Depending on what you want your beliefs are. That give us deeper meanings in life, choices, lessons. hints on what is the right and wrong way.

The real boss of us - As you put it. Is our inner being.
It dosent control us, so to speak, because i believe we have free will, to make choices and mistakes.
(of course that is my point of view).

I would say they control one another.
Take any life experience; your brain processes the info and classifies it acording to the effects on your 'emotions' (pain or pleasure), which determines the kind of soul u'll have. Then, before taking any action on a particular situation, your brain remembers the former effects on your soul, so u act accordingly. Brain and soul work together.

The soul is the whole of the person, the unity of the body, breath and mind. It is not some immaterial spiritual entity. It is you, all of you, your whole being or self. Therefore, our brain is a part of our soul; so I would assume that it would have control since our brain does indeed control everything that we do.

i would say our soul/spirit controls our thoughts/mind,,,, which controls our actions,,,,, for the most part,,,,, but its a combination of our physical parts, our brain, and our spirit/mind,, as in the cases of people with mental disease,,,or brain injury,,,, so i guess it takes all to work together for things to run smoothly
but we all each have the same physical brains,,,,,
