I see no law saying you can't. I'm 16 and I still watch cartoons, so don't feel bad.

I'm 13 and I still would collect Barbie dolls and buy Barbie clothes but I'm not so much into playing with them anymore.

Of course. And if people make fun of you, just try to ignore them. It is your life, not theirs. So you can do what you like. I am 15 and I played with those army men until I was 13-14. I still have them. And who knows, I might get them out soon!

Don't go around school telling everyone you still play with Barbie dolls, because you will get teased by the ones who think they, not the dolls, are so cool. Play with them as much as you want, and as often as you want. And you don't always have to play with them in secret - like in your room. (If you do that?) Play with them where you want.

I hope this fills your confidence...

Cheers

Absolutely! Don't be in a hurry to trade in those dolls for boys. Boys will be around forever, childhood is brief. Enjoy every moment. If you don't already, I would suggest that you start sewing your own Barbie clothes. It is lots of fun and before you know it you'll be sewing clothes for yourself. I still enjoy sewing clothes for my nieces barbies. It's a great way to learn an important skill that can turn into a lifetime hobby or even career (and have fun while doing it!).

Adult collectors dress, comb, style the hair, and make dioramas to display their dolls. Maturity is being able to handle the added responsibilities of being an adult. The removal of toys willingly or by force does not prove maturity.in every case. There are many who have no toys but are unable to handle life as an adult. Pathetic excuses say giving up the toys means we gain maturity. It is the way in which they are used that changes as we get older.

To put your mind at ease when you get older you don't (play) with toys you collect them. So now you are a Barbie collector! Just call it a hobby and you will be fine. And don't worry, dolls at auctions can go for as much as 1200 bucks!
By the way, I'm 29 and I still have my Voltron toy. (collector) HE HE. (:
