I am constantly reading books, just finished reading Sidney Poitiers The Measure of a Man. It was excellent, he has always been a heroic person and a great role model for young people; and now I admire him even more after reading about his life in detail.

Last week I read A Life in Letters by Margo Howard (Ann Landers' Letters to Her Only Child) and reread William Faulkners The Sound and the Fury.

This is in addition to all the reading I have to do for work and my Masters degree studies.

I enjoy the computer, but love holding a book in my hands and turning the actual pages, it makes me feel more a part of what I am reading and learning about.

I hope that real books will never totally go out of fashion, reading on a screen is not the same experience.

Have a good night and happy reading.

I never go anywhere without a book. I love to read even when I only have say 5 minutes at the bus stop, or eating alone at a restaurant. I love the texture, the print, even the smell of books, and making little notes in them, highlighting cool phrases, etc. As fast as technology moves, I can't imagine a world without books in print!
(Speaking of, can I recommend my favorite author, Christopher Moore? LOL hilarious author, totally OUT there!)

I certainly would not like to lose our printed word. I enjoy reading...feeling the book, pages and smelling the paper. Wondering how many others have held this book and enjoyed the flavor?!
Yes, I still read books. Actually tomorrow I am going to the local library for some research.

if we don't - God help us!! Yes, I think we will always have books, because literature shapes the world. Although some people may find it hard to believe, technology isn't always the answer. There's just something fascinating about actually picking up a book, and turning the pages to see what happens - screens just don't do that!

Plus...screens hurt your eyes after a while...

Yes, I read books. I get more enjoyment from books. I don't care much for fiction, though. I like non-fiction better.

When I am reading, I forget my troubles and get lost in the book. If the book is an interesting one, it is hard to put it down to do other things.

I certainly hope books never go out of print and really believe they never will. How about you?

Ah, I know it sux huh? I read books... but only if my teacher tells me I have to. Sadly I don't see many people getting lost in pages of a book in the future. But books will always be valuable.

I hope we will still have books I love to read. When it nice outside I like to curl up on my porch swing with a book. It just wouldn't be the same curling up with a lap top.
