I only have sound in one speaker, i have checked all the volumes and levels but there is nothing on the right side. I did just have my system board replaced, could this be a source of the problem?

yes it definitely could be the problem, the speaker has been blown out. contact the company that replaced the motherboard and see if they will stand behind their work.

I have the same laptop, and my right speaker frequently goes in and out too. Sometimes it doesn't work at all, and then one dayit'll decide to work again. I also have problems with the touch pad, and for some reason, using Internet Explorer locks up the Internet, and I hav to open a new window for it to refresh itself. It's very odd. I think it's just thecomputer. Toshiba sucks.
