no it does not have to be darker. 2 lines means pregnant! :)
if you are sure take another test first thing in the morning.

It's very normal. A second line is positive. You are pregnant. If you really want to be sure though I would get a blood test. Or you might by one with two in them to see if they are consistent. But a second line light or not is a positive. If you read the results right away then it is very accurate. False positives are very rare and usually only occur if a person is taking hcg containing fertility treatments or has not read the results within the 5-10 minute time frame (depending on test instructions). Congratulations.

I have had it both ways and I am pregnant. I went a little crazy and took eight test and a blood test. At first the control line was a lot darker but after I had missed my period the results line was much darker than the control line. When in doubt go buy a digital test like I finally did and you will get your answer.

Yes, I have. I was pregnant. The best thing to do would go to your doctor for a pregnancy test. That will give you a definite answer and put your questions at ease. My test showed a faint line and a really dark line. I went to my doctor to get a test and was confirmed I was pregnant. Some tests say that even the slightest color of a line counts. You are putting the baby's best interest at heart if you just go to the doctor. Hope this helps and best wishes for you.

I personally have had this happen, almost exactly. My pregnancy test, the control line didnt show up at all. I took another one and the same thing happened. When I went to my doctors office, they said if the result line showed any HINT of positive, that you are pregnant. So I would say that you are pregnant!! So, congrats!!

I did one and the control line was very faint, I could hardly see it. There was no second line, but I did another a week later and was 2 weeks pregnant. You should use an early morning wee and stick it under it the middle of your wee, rather than the start. Also, wait until a week after your missed period.

Congratulations. specific any line, even a faint one is beneficial. you are able to have many fake unfavourable consequences yet in straight forward terms very very infrequently do you get a pretend beneficial consequence. the reason the line grew to become into in straight forward terms faint is, there is in straight forward terms a low volume of hormone on the 2d, in case you took yet another attempt in some days time the line may be clearer.
