While itchy soles indicate an unplanned journey, feet in general are considered lucky. The right side of the body is considered to be far more lucky than the left though. Putting the left shoe on the right foot and stumbling with the left foot can indicate disappointment or bad luck.
But if you're itchy, try a medicated foot powder, or moisturizer, or perhaps you detergent or fabric softener is irritating you. Happy feet!
