I'm just a guy like everyone else: i work, sleep, all that jazz. My friends in highschool knew i liked the taste of blood, and they called me a vamp, and that was it. I was working with a co-worker and said i like the taste of blood, and he gave me a weird look and said that i was goth. THAT got me thinking. and so i ask this question

Of course not!!
Basically blood tastes liek salt. So what if you like salt? Lots of people like salt.
REAL goth people are these really artistic people...they are considered "darker" than most people...but they are very artistic and smart and love poetry. they are not afraid to laugh at themselves once in awhile, and are not these freaks that only wear black
REAL emo people are NOT people who cut themselves. They have totally different personalities than most people, and are very unique and nice. If they are rebellious, they do it because they want to, not because they think it's "emo" to do that.
Don't label yourself. Just be yourself. Labels are pathetic, to be honest. Just because you like the taste of blood doesn't make you "dark" or anything. It just means you like the taste of salt.

NOPE.
I read this question and thaught it strange untill I realised, when I get a cut or something and stick the bloody finger in my mouth it tastes good - not bad !
Now I am not Goth or anything and don't even know what emo is so now got to look it up. But I can't say that I have any revulsion to the tast of blood.
And I bet that anyone with a cut finger will stick it in their mouth as fast as possible and not think "yuck, blood".

No. Gothic and emo is just stereotypes. If you like the taste of blood you're probably going to get a huge stomach ache from blood getting into your stomach via your mouth.

No. But if you ever become goth or emo, you're at a good step ahead of some people! But I like the taste of blood too, and I'm not goth or emo.

No, I believe that means that you might be minerally/nutritionally deficient... (Zinc? Iron perhaps? Are you anemic??)
Especially if you feel you have an URGE to consume it or if you consider it a CRAVING.
I believe it to be similar to the way some people develop pica (pie-cahh), the nutritional deficiency that compels some people to eat dirt, clay or even poop (I kid you not!! *LOL*)
In case you don't know, btw, there are many 'goth's out there who are vegetarian/vegan and wouldn't dare touch even a drop of blood, so I doubt liking blood would 'make' you one.

No blood has a very harmless salty taste. I think that you could eat something less bland and get more fiber in your diet.
