Colic is very painful for a baby and they tend to cry a lot. Are you breastfeeding or bottle feeding? If your breastfeeding try to change the position to reduce any chance of him sucking any UN wanted air. Try to lay him in your lap or on a pillow so your breast is hanging down into his mouth.
If your bottle feeding I would agree with the other comment to go to lactose free formula. I used soy formula with my son, to reduce colic as it's a bit thicker and they have to digest it slower.
I also found a particular bottle to be so great. I'm terrible with remembering brands and it was a while ago. It was so great for colic babies as it had a bag you had to insert into the bottle (bottom of bottle came out to allow this) and your milk went into the bag (It was called a collapsible bottle I believe) As they drank from the bottle the bag literally co lapsed (shrive led up) so no air remained in the bottle at all and none could be digested by baby.
Have a look at your chemist. We also used Colic drops, which we gave before his feed and this combination seemed to work well.
Colic can be hard on the entire household as no one gets any sleep. Remember it's not your fault and rest assured that your doing everything you can to help.
(you can't do any more then that)
Best of luck.

I breastfeed, so I don't know much about formulas. My son had colic. He is doing better now.
The signs: he was restless, didn't sleep well, looked uncomfortable/cried, I could hear his little tummy make noises at times, it was very hard to burp him (Mylicon drops - baby's gas relief helped - I never leave home without it.)

You can try different kind of "colic-free" bottles. Not all of them work the same. I've tried several, for my son "Parent's Choice" and "Gerber NUK" brands worked the best.
Don't worry, it will get better in time. :)

Some of the signs of colics are fussiness, when u see that he's pushes and he cries, or when he is sleepless. You have to be very patient. Try soothing him by holding and caressing him, rub his tummy and his back and u can also try mylicon (used for infant's gas relief). It's exhausting, but like I said u have to be patient. If nothing makes him feel better than talk to ur pediatrician.Good luck!!

My youngest one had colic. She just cried all the time, wouldn't sleep, and she wouldn't eat either. The best thing I did for her was change her formula. Went to lactose free. Try this to see if this helps.
