Suicide has been done with guns, knives, razor blades, hanging, drowning, jumping from a high perch, driving a car into a bridge or over a cliff, starvation, pills, alcohol, drug overdose... you name it and someone has tried it.
I saw a lady who tried to kill herself by putting a shotgun to the side of her head. Unfortunately, when she pulled the trigger, the barrel of the gun slipped and she blew away her lower jaw.
Then I saw one young man who sat against the head of his bed and put a shotgun into his mouth and pulled the trigger. It took weeks to clean his brains and scalp and hair from the wall.
Suicide isn't pretty and it always leaves the family with the task of cleanup and trying to figure why it was done. It leaves them the utter helpless feeling that maybe they could have done something.
