Is my ipod broken?

i have an i pod video my friend gave me and theres the black front side and the metal back side. and the black front is kind of like, loose and you can like move it side to side a little bit. is this something for me to worry about or is your ipod like that?

yeah, somethings not right with it. a little bit of advice... iRiver SUCKS. do NOT buy iRiver products. i had 2 mp3 players that both broke with the same problem within 2 years. effing ridiculous... DONT BUY FROM iRIVER!
