I'm looking to offer a layaway service for new baby furniture but do this thru our website. If you weren't able to come into a physical store to do this but online only..would you use this program? There's a 100% money back policy if you cancel & no cancellation fee! I appreciate your input on this.

Hmmm...sounds pretty good. I've never heard of any other websites doing online layaway. I suppose if you have a legit business, with a secure payment system it might be a good idea. I personally prefer shopping online, so I would love your offer. (by the way, do you sell baby bedding? I'm planning on buying some soon, so let me know what your website is so I could do some browsing, thanks!) Good luck with the business!

I'm sure people would be interested, especially mothers who are on bed rest and can't get out to an actual store to decorate their nursery. My husband didn't have a clue, but I was luckily able to get out and move to get the furniture and set things up. Had I been bedridden, I don't know what I would have done. Something like this, for someone who doesn't have the money to buy something online and pay the shipping in one payment, would be a really good deal.

Some things have a knack of getting screwed up when you purchase things on the web. Best bet is to read the fine print, confer with others that have used the service or just to be on the safe side go to a furniture store in person.

I think that would be great! I agree though that sometimes there needs to be reading of the fine print to make sure you are getting taken advantage of. It would be a shame to think you were being able to do a good thing like that, and then not be able to get your money back if something happened. Spell things out very clearly.

that sounds like a great idea, it can be really difficult to get out of the house with kids in tow. That would have been wonderful when I was expecting my last one (maybe next time around :)
