Your so awesome, i love the way you think :)
I believe no matter which part of the body is the most important, wether it be the organ of the brain, heart, leg, i dont know, any... that neither part would be as important without them collectiveley working together to produce the answer to the complicated equation of being a person: spiritually, physically, and as a whole
Because if you didn't have your brain, what is there to steer your heart, and if you don't have your heart, what direction is their for your brain, and if you dont have your leg, then you would be one legged (okay, the last part need not to be said, but... yea... and yes, i know the leg is not an organ, anyways...) At least that's how i look at it, the most important organ is a collectively active team of ones.

OK, so all the organs are interdependant. That's true of all closed systems. On that basis one might say the human brain is no more important than all the other parts of the environment on which life depends. But I'd count it the most important organ, because the substance of life for us, beyond sustenance and pro-creation, is how we experience life, and how we process what we experience. Both are entirely dependant on the brain, whether we use it much or not. So it gets my vote. Certainly all we "know" is a measure of our ignorance, and we may delude ourselves (and usually do); but our brain is still the best thing we have to find our way in the dark of perception - which again is all we've got.

You can live without every other organ -- even a heart -- with the right medical care. But it is impossible to live without a brain. That makes it, logically, the only organ which has absolute priority over all others.

Your second and third questions are on a totally different subject, but they also have very logical answers. It is absurd for the brain to "trick you", because "you" do not exist as a conscious being outside your own brain. So effectively, your brain would be trying to trick itself, which is obviously a futile and absurd action. So no, your brain cannot intentionally try to trick you.

No, no organ is more important with the others. I read a cute joke that has all the parts of the body arguing over who is the most important when finally the annus shut down and ended the argument.

Yes, it is. The latest definition of death is brain death:

Brain death, which is now a legal condition in most states for declared death, requires that the following be absent for at least 12 hours: behavioral or reflex motor functions above the neck, including pupillary reflexes to testing jaw reflex, gag reflex, response to noxious stimuli, and any spontaneous respiratory movement. Purely spinal reflexes can remain. If the patient has agreed to be an organ donor, the observation period can be shortened to 6 hours.

On a purely biological level, a human body requires ALL its major organs to sustain life. Philosophically speaking, an ancient, but beloved Hindu tale, the Ashtavakra Gita, expresses the witness concept. We (humanity) are not of our material possessions, flesh, or even the mind. We are simply pure consciousness, the witness to our lives, and nothing more. More specifically, it is US who "tricks" ourselves into believing our earthly wares, bodies, and minds are important.

Your brain is the only thing you think with anyway, just let it be the most important part of your body. It's not like it's trying to murder you.

They are all important, but some are more important, not the most important. We can live without a spleen, appendix, one of the kidneys, on lung, etc. But we ca not live without a brain, a liver, etc.
