I think you should come over here and cut this awful orange tag off my pic. That would be a good place to start. Then we will discuss about getting our stories straight, so that when the tag police come (they are alerted by the hi pitched ripping noise, it sets off an alarm at head office) You tell them we were just hitting each other with the pillows and the came off in our hands, k? Right, now I am gonna turn my back and you gotta rip fast or it's GONNA hurt.

ohhh no u must do what i say they have devices on the tags and if someone rips the tag off they will track u down and do unspeakable things this is called the tag curse. to reverse this curse u must. destroying the item in which the tag came off off as soon as posible u must atke it 2 the front door of the police station and set it on fire then u and ten friends must atke all clothes off and stand still as a statue in a cricle around the fire. if u fail to do this then kiss ur *** good bye

lol! The tag is put on for the retailer to leave on...once you get the product home you can do what you want with the tag. They got rid of the pillow tag police years ago.

Read the tag. It's only illegal for retailers to remove it.

Actually, if you are the purchaser/consumer of the object, it's okay to take it off. Did you read the rest of that warning? There is a phrase that follows "DO NOT REMOVE." It is: "EXCEPT BY CONSUMER."
