This is a small business running out of my apartment. I specialize in cakes, candies, pastries ( from truffle candies to wedding cakes) and also party favors and invitations ( from birthdays, holidays, baby showers, and weddings). I had the name "Happy Endings" in mind, but some of my friends say that even though it fits the bill, some other people may think i run a 'massage parlor'. Please help me find out a name for my business...i already have clients lined up, but i need a name to put on the business cards and invoices! HELP!! thanks in advance!

keep the name you want, but add "catering" or "party planning" or saomething like that so it is clear what kind of business it is. i think the name "Happy Endings" is a good name. It makes me feel comfortable that everything will be taken care of

Some of these answers make me want to cringe!
I dont know who your friends are, but when I think of Happy Endings, I think of a story not a massage... That is a perfect name for your shop, I agree with the few answers that state specifying it a little more. You can always have a Tittle AND a slogan. I wish you the best of luck with your business, and Im expecting a cake from you in my mailbox asap (just kidding)

Maybe you could try using your name in your business, like Crystals Candies and Cakes,
or Penny's Pastries... just a thought

You could still use "Happy Endings" but with a sub-heading as well, such as "Happy Endings - specialty cakes & party favors" to differentiate yourself from a "massage parlor."

Or perhaps "Happy Occasions" ?

Choose It! is decision making software. Use it to make important business, financial, even life-changing decisions. Yes, really! It brings amazing clarity, your own clarity, to any complex question or problem. People have used it to...
• decide upon important strategic directions for their businesses
• select career paths for their adult children
• decide upon vacation destinations, and even to
• make the monumental decision about what to have for lunch (bacon sandwich or cheese sandwich or bacon and cheese sandwich).
The process is based upon a classic decision making model that we all use intuitively for easy questions or problems (ex., "Do I?" or "Don't I?" with columns of "pros" and "cons"). But that simple process breaks down badly for more complicated decisions.

Choose It! builds a simple-yet-sophisticated decision matrix while you complete a step-by-step decision tree. This decision making process organizes your thinking. Result? You make correct choices for the most complex, nuanced questions.
